The Bothninan Bay archipelago is unique! <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is the world's northernmost brackish water archipelago, the country's most densely populated labyrinth and offers bright summer nights, magical northern lights and many opportunities for leisure and relaxation. We are happy to tell you about everything that is nice! In our archipelago guide - Your guide to 100 gems in the Bothnian Bay (in Swedish)<\/a> - we tell you about the coast and archipelago of the Gulf of Bothnia, its nature and culture, and advise on various places to visit in the coast and archipelago. We hope it will provide more knowledge about our unique area and inspire a visit. The archipelago guide is also available in printed format to be picked up at, for example, the municipalities' tourist centers and in an English version - Your guide to 100 gems in the Bothnian Bay (in English)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An accessible archipelago \u2013 all year round<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tour boats and accommodation in the archipelago: <\/strong>How do you get out to the islands if you don't have your own boat? Where can you rent accommodation on the islands? In Ta turb\u00e5ten ut i Bottenvikens sk\u00e4rg\u00e5rd<\/a> you will find answers to these questions. We also give tips on what you can find to do in the coast and archipelago. Available destinations: <\/strong>We have also worked to make it easier for more people to visit the archipelago by adjusting the accessibility of a number of destinations. Pictures and descriptions of the adjustments that have been made are compiled in a report<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ice situation in the Gulf of Bothnia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The winter archipelago is amazing \u2013 but it is important to keep an eye on the ice, the ice that was stable yesterday may be completely different today. Weather, wind and water levels can turn a stable ice into a swaying mass of ice floes. Below we have listed some good sites to check out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
